Customer Services

Whether you're looking to purchase The Light's gift vouchers or to hire one of our meeting rooms, our friendly customer service team are always on hand to make sure your visit to The Light is as pleasurable as possible. The team are proud to have been awarded the Welcome Host Plus certificate part of the Welcome to Excellence training programme and are dedicated to ensuring that you always receive a high level of customer service. The Customer Service Suite is located on the upper balcony level and is open Monday-Saturday 9am - 5.30pm.

First Aid

There is always a qualified first aider on duty in the scheme and a defibrillator is available in the event of an emergency.

Photo-Me

The Photo-Me station is located opposite VUE box office on The Balcony level and produces instant digital photos, picture stickers, photos with famous people, caricatures from a photograph in 3 minutes as well as a special photo machine, which enables you to change your hairstyle! Photo-Me also creates business cards and invitations using text and a variety of images and logos.

Baby Care Facilities

Mums and Dads with kids in tow, just relax as The Light has thought of everything to ensure that your visit is hassle free and enjoyable, with parent and child spaces in our safe and secure award winning car park and a large baby change room on The Upper Balcony level.

Public Toilets

Toilets are situated on The Upper Balcony level outside the Customer Services Suite. A 20p charge is in operation. Disabled toilets are free of charge.

Public telephones are situated on the arcade level opposite Joy

One Medicare @ The Light

One Medicare @ The Light is the only NHS Doctor’s surgery in Leeds city centre. Opening hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8.00am - 6.00pm Tuesday and Thursday: 7.00am - 7.00pm Saturday: 9.00am – 1.00pm To register contact the surgery for a new patient pack. The Light boasts the only cinema in central Leeds and is home to a whole host of restaurants and eateries all trading very successfully. the centre is a safe and well managed environment with lower level secure parking open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Photography

We welcome all visitors to take photographs at the centre for personal use. If you are a professional photographer and want to take images of the centre or of our tenants then you will need to seek permission from the Customer Service Suite. If you take photographs for professional purposes without permission you will be asked by security to stop.
